thank you so much for playing!

Honestly I actually didn't expect those endings! But I like how they panned out to be honest. I was already pretty uneasy by "Axel's" images and sprite that we see and the way Endings 2 and 3 played out were absolutely terrifying as it shocked me. I feel really bad for MC since they were trying to cope but in the end they were probably just exploited over their own weaknesses.

Below I talk about the endings so spoiler warning!

I think that in the different endings, they do depend on how MC treats "Axel" and how the android in turn feels about that.

Ending 1 Self-Destruct - I think here, we didn't try to force the android to be Axel, at the start we did, but upon seeing the android's blank expression it was just MC reminiscing while the android listen, and the second time we are reminded that the android is an android, not Axel, and at the final choice where MC accepts that the android is their unique self and not the one who should ever replace Axel, they gave that choice for the android to pick a movie. All of this, coupled with MC asking if the android wants to be called "Axel" and giving them that choice, practically fueled the android's belief that they can't harm this person who, while bought the android for their selfish needs, allowed themselves to be given acknowledgement and choices. And as such, since the android's primary function was to replace MC and possibly kill them, Axel self-destructed to save MC.

Ending 2 Replacement - here, I think the reason why the android was more brutal here is because MC gave hope that they could have possibly saw the android as more, but it was false hope as in the end MC only saw the android as a failure of a replacement to Axel. Things could have ended somewhat better if only MC didn't give false hope to the android by doing the pointers in Ending 1 but choosing another option once or twice, which is why MC's end is more brutal here.

Ending 3 Prisoner - with this one, I think the reason why MC was let off a bit less harshly than in Ending 2 was because the android was already aware that MC's intentions were like this. There was no betrayal, only knowledge that MC only wanted and needed the android was because they needed a replacement for Axel, and as such they got it either way.

Spoiler

I already didn't trust "Axel" because of their scary vampire looking teeth and those scary static eyes in the menu lol. And the obvious fact that there are trigger warnings XD

Anyways we learned that we shouldn't buy androids supposedly resembling someone from a most likely sketchy seller!

I liked it ^^

do you have any plans to make a walkthrough?

We are currently working on the final update for this game, and once that is implemented I will be happy to write up a walkthrough for it. Look for a Devlog next week for info!
